The list of documents important for PMAY (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana) is listed in this article. This scheme was started in 2015 by the government and is successful till now. It was introduced on 25th June 2015 with the mission of providing the Economically Weaker Sections with 30 sq. mt. carpet area houses.
The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) Mission was launched with the view to provide housing for every person in India.
This scheme has two components which are Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin (PMAY – G) which is also known as Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural (PMAY – R) and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban (PMAY – U).
There is, however, an eligibility criterion for those who will be receiving the benefits of this scheme.
Only the eligible person will have to submit a few documents to purchase a house under the scheme PMAY.
You have to select the PMAY Credit Linked Subsidy (CLSS). The PMAY Application is required to be filled with self-declaration.

Affidavit-cum-undertaking stating that the construction is done in an authorized area. The construction should be strictly according to the sanctioned plan/building and those should amend by the law as well. The loan will be sanctioned only for acquiring the house for residential purposes only. |
A note should also be provided which states the nature of the business/ the activities done there/ self-attested financial statement/ the business license if the person is self-employed |
If there is any receipt of advance payment made to the builder or seller, then that should also be submitted. |
An affidavit from the beneficiary should also be submitted stating that either he/she or any of the other family members do not own any pucca house in any part of the country. |
The letter of allotment of the property/ or agreement to sale, title deed/ lease deed/ mutation in respect of the pre-owned property, which requires to get extended according to where the property or resale property is proposed to be purchased from the builder. |
