Step Wise Process To Check PMAY Status With Aadhar

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) mission was launched in 2015 with a view of providing the specific income group people, a subsidy up to Rs 2.67 Lakh on Home Loan. The process to check PMAY Status with Aadhar Card is possible with very simple steps.

This subsidy was provided under the PMAY Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme. 

The PMAY scheme is divided into two components, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin (PMAY – G) and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban (PMAY – U)

The government has planned the PMAY Scheme into three phases, namely:

• Phase I: This was initiated from April 2015 to March 2017. This phase includes 100 cities that were selected from different States/UTs.
• Phase II: This was initiated from April 2017 to March 2019. This phase includes 200 cities.
• Phase III: This was initiated from April 2019 to March 2022. This phase includes all the remaining cities. 

There was four major verticals of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) which focused in providing affordable housing facility to the required people.

The four verticals were named as the following:

1. ‘In Situ’ Slum Redevelopment: This scheme was designed for the slum dwellers
2. Affordable Housing through Credit Linked Subsidy: This subsidy was available for different income groups like EWS, LIG, MIG I, and MIG II.
3. Affordable Housing in Partnership: Boosting the EWS Housing in Urban Areas.
4. Subsidy for beneficiary-led individual house construction: Land owners who wants to rebuild or construct a new house. 

The process to check the status of the Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme Online is provided below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of CLSS Awas Portal (CLAP) at pmayuclap.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the Application ID Tab from the left side of the Home Page

Step 3:  Fill in the Application ID, and add the OTP sent on the registered mobile number 

Step 4: Then Click on verify 

Step 5: The Status of the CLSS subsidy is displayed 

Any person who has applied for the PMAY Scheme successfully can follow the below 5-step process to check their PMAY status online.

However, it is important to ensure that you have your Aadhar card ready with you to get the status of the PMAY subsidy. 

Step 1: Visit the official website of PMAY at pmaymis.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the Search Beneficiary option on the Home Page

Step 3: Click on the Search by name option, and a new page will appear

Step 4: Enter the Aadhar Card number. 

Step 5: Click on Show. Your details and status of your PMAY application will be displayed
