Impact of Pune Ring Road on Real Estate
Pune is having the real estate growth across all zones.
The construction of the Pune Ring Road will strengthen the development of townships in various parts of the city.
The PMRDA has already started thinking about town planning schemes in areas like Maan and Mahalunge.
The township in Mahalunge and Maan will be built on 700 acres of land following the Hinjewadi IT Park.
PMRDA had already planned to build two townships in Holkarwadi. Residential projects are also planned for both Vadachiwadi and Autande Handewadi.
The property growth will provide real estate opportunities to homebuyers. And it will help stabilise the prices of premium real estate markets of Kalyani Nagar, Viman Nagar, Koregaon Park, Kharadi, etc.
At present, the average property price in the mentioned areas is almost Rs. 14,500 per sq. ft. This made people living towards the east of Pune to start searching for a home in the west of Pune.
In most of the areas of north, north-west, and west Pune, infrastructure is a huge challenge.
So, the growth of new townships will increase the choices for homebuyers. And PMRDA is also seeking growth in the real estate sector.
