According to an official, the Maharashtra government’s City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) on Friday extended the application deadline for 7,849 units under a mass housing programme to January 23.
As part of the scheme Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) of the Centre, the state-run planning body CIDCO is providing these dwellings in the Ulwe node within Navi Mumbai in the Thane district for economically weaker sections (EWS), he said.
“Due to a large number of applications, the deadline for submission was originally set for Friday, but it was postponed to January 23 in order to accommodate more applicants for the Mass Home Scheme 2022.
The general population of individuals from economically weaker segments is capable of applying for this mass housing programme. On the official website, mass housing scheme applications and registrations are now being accepted from 2022.
The scheme’s computerised lottery draw will take place on February 8th ” he added in a statement.
