As per the source, Godrej Properties acquired the bungalow of Raj Kapoor for developing a premium and luxurious residential project in Chembur, Mumbai. The property was purchased from Raj Kapoor’s family.
In 2019, Godrej properties also acquired the R.K Studios from his family to build a mixed usability project, later it was named “Godrej RKS”. And this project is planned to be delivered in 2023.
The MD and CEO of Godrej Properties Ltd told “As demand for premium and luxurious project developments are increasing over the past few years, the project of developing the residential project will help us in establishing the presence in Chembur.”
The Godrej properties company had a growth in net total profit during the quarter end of 2022 by 44.54%. In Q3 FY23, the company’s profit after tax was Rs. 56.40 crores whereas in the previous year’s corresponding quarter was Rs. 39.02 crores as profit after tax.
And the company’s net total income was Rs. 404.58 crores during Q3 FY23. This is a 13.35% dip from Rs. 466 crores recorded in the corresponding quarter of last year.
