The Authority of NOIDA reports that progress has been made on the skywalk that will connect Noida Sector 52 & Sector 51’s metro stations. Sector 51 is located on the Aqua Line, whilst Sector 52 is on the Blue Line. Rickshaws are required for passengers who need to change lines to go between the two stations. The Noida Authorities hope to solve this issue with the skywalk.
The Noida Authority has decided which company will handle the project. A travelator with an automated 5 m/s speed will also be installed inside the under-construction skywalk. The travelator will be placed up for auction by the government.
The skywalk will have total climate control. The skywalk construction will cost about Rs 250 million. Approximately 480 metres of the skywalk will be taken up by it. It will have 100 percent waterproofing.
Many people will profit from the skywalk. The Noida Authorities will soon release a DPR for the circumstance. The duration of the project is five months.
The Skywalk will have a travelator that moves at a speed of 0.5 metres per second and will be 420 metres long and 5 metres wide. Because a private firm received the site next to the stations, the Skywalk has been constructed in the shape of an “L.” By facilitating commuter transit between Delhi & NOIDA metro stations, the Skywalk would improve Aqua Line conjunction.
