Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha has acquired a luxurious apartment in the upscale residential tower of Bandra, Mumbai, at a cost of Rs 11 crore.
The apartment spanning approximately 2,430 square feet, is situated on the 26th floor of the exclusive 81 Aureate tower, located near Bandra reclamation on KC Road.
Sonakshi Sinha acquired this apartment directly from the developer Pyramid Developers and Ultra Lifespaces, paying a stamp duty of Rs 55 lakh for the registration on August 29, as indicated by documents available on Zapkey.com.
This marks the second apartment purchase by Sonakshi Sinha in the same residential tower. Before this, in March 2020, she bought another residence covering 4,632 sq ft on the 16th floor of the same tower for Rs 14 crore, also directly from Pyramid Developers and Ultra Lifespaces.
Real estate remains a favored investment for high-net-worth individuals, including Bollywood figures who view it not only as a place of residence but also as an investment.
Notably, other Bollywood actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Kartik Aryan, Sara Ali Khan, Amrita Singh, Ajay Devgan, and Kajol have also invested in properties within the same project. This trend extends to producers and directors in the film industry as well.
Recently, film producer and director Dinesh Vijan purchased a luxurious duplex apartment spanning almost 7,800 sq ft in the super-premium tower, Rustomjee Parishram, in Mumbai’s upscale Pali Hill area of Bandra suburb for a staggering Rs 103 crore.
