The BJP has been criticising the BRS administration for failing to forward the double-bedroom plan despite the Center’s willingness to provide funding. BJP officials cited examples of how BJP-run states like Uttar Pradesh used financing from the federal government to build double-bedroom homes for the underprivileged.
