Omkar Alta Monte Malad

Malad is in North Mumbai. Malad's railway station on the Western line (Mumbai Suburban Railway) of the Mumbai Suburban Railway, resting between Kandivali station to the north and Goregaon station to the south. In the 19th century, Malad hosted a number of remote areas that include Orlem (also known as Valnai), Kharodi, Rathodi, Malwani, Marve, Aksa, Madh, and Chincholi. Onward of Aksa Beach, is the hidden and relatively lesser-known vital landmark, which is the Malad Fort a.k.a. Madh Fort. This fort overlooks the Arabian Sea and was captured by the Maratha Empire, from the Portuguese in 1739. Malad consists of several renowned educational institutes like St Joseph's High School, Ryan International School, St. Anne's High School & Junior College, etc. The Inorbit and Infiniti malls are the main entertainment hubs in Malad.
