TVS Green Acres Perungalathur

Perungalathur is a locality in the south part of Chennai in Tamil Nadu. It's also the primary bus station for passengers to commute to all southern cities of Kerala and Tamil Nadu, Ancient Shiva Temple, located in Perungulathur is about 800 years old. Perungulathur is located on the NH45 highway between Tambaram and Vandalur. It is smoothly connected by rail and road links. Inclusively, the Perungulathur railway station is about 30-35 km from the Chennai Central region. The town has two major lakes, one in Peerkankaranai, nearby to NH-45, and another Perungulathur lake behind the Vedanta Desika Srinivasa Perumal Temple. Much of Peerkankaranai Lake was filled during the widening of the NH-45 highway and the remaining area is shrinking due to the dumping of solid wastes.
